At Happy Acres Doggy Daycare, we take pride in being a family-owned and operated business, founded and run by mother-daughter duo Allison and Aaliyah Magee. With deep roots in rural living and a lifelong love for animals, our passion for providing exceptional care runs deep.
Our background in working with horses has given us a strong foundation in animal care, patience, and responsibility. We’re also proud pet parents to six amazing dogs of our own, so we understand firsthand just how important it is to find a daycare you can trust with your furry family members.
Growing up surrounded by wide open spaces and animals of all kinds, we’ve carried that same sense of freedom, love, and respect for nature into everything we do. At Happy Acres, our goal is to create a warm, safe, and joyful environment where dogs can thrive—physically, emotionally, and socially.
We’re committed to doing what’s best for every dog in our care, always guided by compassion, integrity, and a whole lot of tail wags. When your pup is with us, they’re part of the family.
Allison
When Allison isn’t at Happy acres, she is at home embracing her role as a devoted mother, you’ll likely find her hard at work behind the scenes running their successful mobile repair business with her husband. With a strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep commitment to both family and community, Allison effortlessly balances the demands of motherhood and business ownership. Her hands-on approach and dedication shine through in everything she does—whether she’s managing schedules, solving problems, or lending a helping hand wherever it’s needed.
Aaliyah
Aaliyah devotes the majority of her time and energy to being fully present at the daycare, ensuring that every dog receives the highest level of care, attention, and love. Her natural connection with animals and her calm, nurturing presence help create a peaceful and joyful environment where dogs feel safe and happy. Whether it’s organizing playgroups, keeping routines running smoothly, or just giving belly rubs and one-on-one attention, Aaliyah is always hands-on and heart-first. When she’s not at the daycare, Aaliyah loves spending time with her loyal dog, Wraith, often going on little adventures together or meeting up with friends for a fun outing. She also enjoys winding down at home with a good TV show or spending quiet moments outdoors with the horses—one of her favorite ways to reconnect with nature and recharge. Her passion for animals extends into every part of her life, and it’s that same passion that makes her such a vital part of the Happy Acres family.
